DESCRIPTION

Join us for a continuation of your Travel Adventure by exploring Dahab on the
Red Sea. A beautiful coastal city with many opportunities for Scuba Diving,
Snorkeling, Windsurfing or simply relaxing by the hotel pool. Visiting the world
famous Blue Hole is a highlight of our time there. Cruise the boardwalk full of
various vendors and multiple restaurants eating and shopping to your hearts
delight. After relaxing for a few days we will travel by ferry to Jordan to visit the
spectacular Rose City of Petra, one of the "New 7 Wonders of the World". We will
start our time in Petra with an evening candlelight walk. The next day is
completely devoted to exploring Petra on your own or with the group. Evenings
are a great time to enjoy the warmth and hospitality of the local ambiance. We
take a ferry back to Egypt for a final night in Dahab returning to Cairo the next
day for flights home.  Having had an amazing adventure exploring the Natural
Beauty of this part of the world.

TRIP SIZE

There will be a minimum of 4 travelers for this tour, maximum 8. Numbers are
finalized August 1, 2023. The small tour size ensures an intimate environment
for our journey and contributes to creating a safe space to allow us to truly relax
and get to know ourselves in a deeper way. Having had a heart-opening journey
you’ll return home with a stronger, clearer sense of yourself.

OUR TOURS CAN BE PHYSICALLY DEMANDING

• The ability to carry/roll your luggage over uneven pavement (possibly
  several blocks) and up stairways to reach your hotel, then up several
  flights of stairs to reach your room.
   

• Be on your feet, walking and standing, for up to three hours, indoors and
  outdoors, in all weather conditions. Suitable for average fitness levels.
   

• Sleep with street noise and no (or weak) air conditioning.
   

• After orientation and transportation lessons, be able to navigate through Petra
  and Dahab on your own.
   

• Endurance is most important, Petra is very large, there is a lot of walking
  involved over uneven ground.

 

TIPPING EXPECTATIONS

Tipping is a way of life in Egypt. Tipping in Jordan isn’t mandatory and is
not as wide spread as in Egypt, but it is appreciated! A good tip in Jordan is
to leave approximately 10% of a restaurant bill. While many tips are
included in the tour price, be prepared to tip for personal service. 3 weeks
before the tour a complete list of expected tips will be shared with to you.
